Agnes Scott College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate and master’s degrees. Agnes Scott College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Authorization

State of Georgia

Agnes Scott College is authorized to operate postsecondary educational programs leading to degrees and certificates in the state of Georgia by Executive Order (PDF) of the Governor dated June 28, 2013.

National

Through its participation in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), Agnes Scott College is authorized to offer educational opportunities in all 49 NC-SARA member states, as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education does not require registration of non-public higher education institutions that are degree-granting, non-profit and accredited. Agnes Scott does not offer distance education to residents participating from locations in American Samoa, Guam nor the Northern Mariana Islands.
